Judaic Studies Teacher

Alef Bet Montessori, located near Washington DC, is hiring a teacher who wishes to train Montessori AMI within the next year or a  candidate who already took AMI training for our Elementary classroom for the 2026-27 school year. Supported by our current Elementary Guide (who has 40+ years of experience) while being mentored in the classroom the successful candidate will enjoy a homey and welcoming team.  This position has an incredible opportunity for a teacher who wishes to take a fully sponsored Montessori Teacher Certificate course and a Master Degree in Education.

Preferred Qualifications:
A holder of a BA  degree in any subject (completed)
Willingness to take further training and qualification for professional training. 
Knowledge, interest or a passion to learn about  the Montessori method as it applies to children 6-12 years old
Commitment to working with a team always striving to model professionalism and collaboration in service of the school’s mission and children
Experience with fostering and maintaining supportive and professional relationships with enthusiastic and interested parents
Work permit to work in the USA

Salary:
$52,000 – $60,000 annually depends on experience
This is full-time teaching position with summers off.
