As a highly academic independent school and the largest Reform Jewish Day School in the country, The Davis Academy serves over 500 students, Kindergarten Prep through eighth grade, across its two state-of-the-art campuses in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area of Atlanta, GA. ?
Davis Academy is hiring a new Director of Institutional Advancement who will lead the creation and implementation of an overarching fundraising strategy. Key focus areas include major donor cultivation and stewardship, fostering meaningful relationships with the Board of Trustees, and integrating them into the school's development efforts. The Director will also lead the schools’ efforts with the Georgia State Education Tax Credit Program (GOAL), grant writing, endowment and legacy giving and support an upcoming capital campaign.
Successful candidates will be goal-oriented and proactive, with strong organizational and people management skills, demonstrated success in donor relations and solicitation, and can manage multiple deadlines. Ideally, candidates will be familiar with the independent school environment and have a passion for both Jewish communal fundraising and Davis Academy’s mission.
