StandWithUs is an international, non-partisan Israel education organization that inspires and educates people of all ages and backgrounds, challenges misinformation, and fights antisemitism. We empower and energize students and communities with leadership training and educational programs on hundreds of college campuses, high schools, and middle schools. We inform through social media, print and digital materials, films, weekly newsletters, and missions to Israel. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Los Angeles, the organization has programs on six continents with chapters and offices throughout the U.S., Israel, the UK, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, the Netherlands, Australia, and South Africa. 

Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Data and Development Services and working on-site at our Los Angeles office, the full-time Development Services Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our Development Services operations. This role requires someone detail-oriented, communicative, and resilient under pressure. The coordinator will manage sensitive data with precision, support donor-related processes, and contribute to team initiatives to maintain seamless operations. During slower seasons, the role includes opportunities for professional development to enhance skills and stay aligned with industry best practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute efficient, accurate, timely data entry and reviews for constituents, gifts, actions, and events, ensuring compliance with organizational and donor guidelines.
  • Generate donor acknowledgments and receipts with an emphasis on accuracy and promptness.
  • Coordinate and maintain thorough documentation for donations and related records to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Provide excellent follow-up and customer service to staff and constituents regarding donor services, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Assist with creating reports, handling donor correspondence, and supporting processes that enhance donor engagement and satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring completion and proactive communication about progress or obstacles.
  • Support professional development initiatives during slower seasons by engaging in training sessions or exploring tools to improve department efficiency.
  • Assist with phone coverage and light receptionist duties.
  • Participate in projects to enhance internal workflows, optimize data integrity, and meet team goals.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least one year of experience in an office environment.
  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy in all work, particularly in handling sensitive donor data.
  • Strong follow-through and accountability for completing tasks on time and to high standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of computer literacy and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as familiarity with Mail Merges and OneDrive/SharePoint.
  • Prior experience with nonprofit/CRM database software, such as Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred.
