Religious School Teachers (and Substitutes) - Part-Time for the 2024-25 School Year

We are hiring for the 2024-2025 school year!

Temple Rodef Shalom, a large, vibrant, warm Reform Jewish congregation located in the Northern Virginia suburbs just outside Washington, DC. We are seeking seeking creative, dynamic, Religious School teachers for this coming year. Ideal candidates will have some teaching experience, enthusiasm for working with children, as well as passion and commitment for Judaism.

• Enthusiastic, patient, creative and dependable
• Passionate about Judaism, tradition and history
• Flexible and able to learn and use various strategies to teach and engage different types of learners
• Able to build positive relationships with students and parents

Current Openings:

• Sunday Mornings: Openings in K-6 grades (early session: 8:30-10:45 am &/or late session: 11:15-1:30 pm)
• Sunday, 7th-9th Grade, in-person (5:30-7:30pm)
