The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) is the world’s longest continuously producing Yiddish theater company, bringing Jewish culture and heritage to audiences through innovative productions and educational initiatives.

Position Overview

NYTF seeks a part-time Group Sales and School Group Coordinator to manage and implement group sales for its Fall 2025 production of Hannah Senesh. This role will also oversee student group coordination as part of NYTF’s Education Initiative. The ideal candidate has experience in group sales, particularly within the Jewish community, and thrives on relationship-building and outreach.

Key Responsibilities

Group Sales & School Group Coordination

• Expand, update, and maintain NYTF’s database of current and potential group sales and school group contacts.
• Act as NYTF’s primary liaison to group and school leaders, fostering strong relationships.
• Implement outreach strategies, including cold calling, to generate group sales.
• Work collaboratively with finance and box office teams to manage group payment processing.
• Promote awareness of NYTF’s productions, events, and educational programs to relevant communities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in group sales, community outreach, or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable with cold calling and direct sales efforts.
• Experience working within the Jewish community is highly preferred.
• Highly organized, resilient, and self-motivated.

Compensation & Work Environment

• Hourly Rate: $30/hour
• Commission: Additional compensation based on sales performance.
• Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours.
• Work Location: Fully remote; NYC Metro Area preferred for networking purposes.
