Central Park Speakers manages some of the most sought-after speakers in the Jewish world, including Naftali Bennett, Bari Weiss, Michael Oren, Noa Tishby, Dan Senor, Haviv Rettig-Gur, Nadav Eyal, Rabbi David Wolpe, Dara Horn, Lizzy Savetsky, and other extraordinary individuals from a variety of fields.

On behalf of our clients, we broker and manage their speaking appearances with hundreds of Jewish/Israel nonprofits and other organizations in the US and worldwide. Since 2019, we have worked with over 500 Jewish non-profit organizations, as well as with many universities, corporations, and foundations on a wide variety of events.

We are looking for an experienced finance, accounting and/or bookkeeping professional to manage the financial operations of our business. The role may take 5-20 hours a week, and will be billed on an hourly basis. We use Quickbooks online for bookkeeping. The role will involve learning our business processes and integrating with our event operations.

We are not considering applicants who are looking to supplement full-time employment with this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Quickbooks online, including: Matching bills for expenses against credit card and bank transactions; Request missing bills from colleagues; Perform checks; Monthly reconciliation
• Invoicing for fee payments and expense reimbursements
• Accounts receivable
• Review Speaker pay statements
• Complete vendor set up applications and provide our information for receiving payments
• Produce internal monthly and quarterly performance statements
• Partner with our CPA in preparation of annual tax return

Applicant Background

• Two years or more experience in finance, accounting, and/ or bookkeeping
• Experience in Quickbooks online
• Understanding of bookkeeping principles
• Highly organized, precise, and detail-driven
• Experience in fast-moving environments and sense of urgency
• Passionate about Israel and Jewish life
