Preschool Director

Education & Experience:
• Degree in Jewish education or related field.
• Knowledge of cultural and religious Judaism a must to be able to set expectations and provide guidance to instructional staff.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in comparable setting.
• Educational background which meets federal and state requirements for early childhood education facility.
• Strong understanding of technology including Microsoft Office Suite and online learning platforms and engagement tools.

This is a full-time position at Congregation B’nai Israel in Gainesville, Florida. This position will supervise key staff in our burgeoning preschool. Working closely with the congregation Rabbi and reporting to the executive director, we envision a position perfect for a person with an advanced degree in Jewish education or related field and who desires a key position in our medium-sized congregation.

An ideal candidate will be able to lead strategically but also have an all-encompassing hands-on demeanor—someone who will inspire through leadership and create a collaborative work environment.
