Position Summary
This position is a key member of the Finance organization responsible for the implementation of the planning processes, forecasting, investment management, and producing and analyzing key departmental reports. This role will be a subject matter expert for Financial Edge and will be accountable to drive efficiencies through increased automation of existing processes.
Essential Job Duties
Planning:
- Develop and maintain annual budget process, partnering with chapters, departments, and senior leadership
- Support strategic planning through research and application of best practices
Forecasting:
- Create and manage cash flow process accurately forecasting revenue and operating/program expenses
Reporting:
- Lead reporting efforts highlighting key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis for senior leadership and Board of Directors
- Leverage expert knowledge of Financial Edge and Raisers Edge NXT to create automated/valuable reporting
- Collaborate with Project and Programs team and other key stakeholders to ensure efficient process for project creation and reporting
- Create pricing for programs and building projects
- Create and maintain Fund/Project IDs in Raisers Edge and Financial Edge
Analysis:
- Analyze performance results monthly across the organization for key metrics identified
- Maintain cross functional relationships to support various ad hoc reporting and analysis needs
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
Investment Management:
- Work with partner advisors to monitor and analyze results to ensure maximized returns given Investment Policy restraints
Supervise, coach and mentor Analyst positions in the Finance department.
Performs other duties as requested.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA a plus.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or other related fields.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to accuracy and detail required
- Fluency in Hebrew is a plus.
