NCSY, a project of the Orthodox Union, connects with Jewish teens through innovative, cutting-edge social and recreational programs to develop a positive Jewish identity. NCSY Empowers teens through leadership development and guidance to become passionately committed leaders of the Jewish community and instruments for positive change and renewal. Position Summary:

The NCSY Revenue Associate is responsible for reviewing, recording, and reconciling revenue for the eleven NCSY regions. The person in this position will report to the NCSY Finance Director.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile credit card and check donation batches between what was entered in the OU CRM system (“Velocity”) and what was received in the OU bank accounts
  • Download journal entries from Velocity
  • Review coding for all revenue receipts and edit as necessary
  • Upload daily journal entry to the OU accounting system (Dynamics GP)
  • Prepare daily entries for program revenue and enter them into the OU accounting system
  • Process refunds as required
  • Provide documentation as requested for the organization’s annual audit
  • Other reconciliations as needed

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • 1 -3 years of Accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Attention to detail, extremely organized with a sense of urgency regarding tasks and ability to prioritize
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Excel

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or NetSuite
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

  

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $65,000.
