Early Childhood Lead Teacher

We are looking for an Early Childhood Lead teacher for children ages 16 months- 2 years old for the 2024-2025 year.

Skills:

Have a deep understanding and knowledge of teaching children at this age effectively.

An excellent leader and mentor. Able to use their knowledge in early childhood and implement that in the classroom.

Must have classroom management

Extremely patient, punctual, and reliable

Responsibilities:

Supervise children at all times and make sure that children are safe

Implement lesson plans and age-appropriate activities that are aligned with DCF guidelines

Supporting, guiding, and monitoring children's behavior and progress

Ability to share work responsibilities with a classroom co-worker

Requirements:

Associate degree or CDA in Early Childhood

Valid certification or state license

Experience in a group setting such as preschool, working with children 16 months - 2 years of age, teaching, and planning lessons

Ability to provide colleagues with honest, constructive criticism

Collaborative and creative mindset, with an affinity for problem solving

Strong passion for the development and education of early childhood students
