Position Overview:
The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Special Projects Coordinator for our Executive Office. This is full-time hybrid position that provides high level project management support to the President & CEO, Chief of Staff, and other executive leaders. The Coordinator role is an excellent launching pad for candidates looking to serve The Associated and the Baltimore Jewish community. This person will serve as a liaison across the organization bridging various departments, outside organizations, and volunteer leadership. The role is responsible for supporting the President & CEO through a combination of research, writing, briefing documents, as well as high level administrative and relationship support functions. In addition, the Coordinator will schedule and manage logistics for Board meetings, leadership gatherings, internal organizational culture efforts, leadership recognition projects, and other efforts in response to the headline issues facing the organization. This is a highly visible, fast paced, role that requires strong attention to detail, small scale event coordination experience, and strong knowledge of the Jewish community. The Coordinator must maintain confidentiality and use discretion at times, have strong computer skills, and have a solid understanding of non-profit organizational culture including exceptional customer service. In addition, the Special Projects Coordinator will attend meetings, events, and programs along with the Executive Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills & requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of work-related experience required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
- Strong listening, communication, and customer service skills.
- Must be able to maintain reliable, regular attendance.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $58,000-$64,000; commensurate with experience.
