The Shalom Hartman Institute is a leading research and educational center serving Israel and World Jewry. Through our community of outstanding scholars and educators the Institute is developing innovative responses to the challenges of our time, cultivating a new generation of leaders and change agents, and building transformational educational projects that are helping to inspire a better Judaism and a better Israel for the 21st century.
Position
The Marketing Coordinator will provide critical support to the Institute’s English-language communications, marketing, and creative projects across North America and in Israel. This position is an opportunity to work on diverse projects including SHI NA’s email communications, website, and collateral design. Success in the role requires strong attention to detail, strong writing skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this position is based in NYC.
Responsibilities

Support email communications and promotional materials for a variety of audiences, including drafting, formatting, and designing newsletters and other email campaigns as well as managing audience segmentation.
Qualifications

Understanding of Israel and Israel-Diaspora relations, Zionism, Jewish traditions, and the contemporary Jewish landscape.
Salary range and benefits:
60k-65k annual salary. Competitive compensation and benefits package, commensurate with experience.
