About Adamah:
Adamah is the leading Jewish environmental organization in North America.
At Adamah, we believe in the deep connection between people and planet, adam and adamah. Every day, we help people feel that connection, spark Jewish inspiration, and build a more sustainable future for all. And because we are the link between our ancestors and our descendants, we are called in this generation to respond to the existential crises of our time with the full power of the Jewish spirit. Our mission is to create vibrant Jewish life in deep connection with the earth, catalyzing culture change and systemic change through immersive retreats, Jewish environmental education, leadership development, and climate action.
About Adamah’s Climate Action Team:
The Adamah Climate Action team runs the Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition (Coalition), a network of Jewish community organizations who recognize the existential threat and moral urgency of climate change and commit to take action. Coalition members commit to annually fill out, submit, and implement Climate Action Plans, which outline the strategic priorities of their organization’s climate work.
The Climate Action Fund is a signature resource of the Coalition, offering members zero-interest loans and matching grants to implement climate solutions that will guarantee permanent, quantifiable GHG emissions reductions over the long term.
