Kahal B'raira is a small and welcoming Humanistic congregation in Cambridge. We are committed to liberal, non-theistic Judaism. We seek teachers who:
- Are passionate about social justice values
- Have some experience working with school-age kids, in a school, camp, or other setting
- Have a basic familiarity with Jewish culture and customs
- Are organized, collaborative, and excited to make connections in the Jewish community!
Our school meets for 14 Sunday mornings per year, from 9:30am-noon. Curriculum and materials are provided, and teachers are welcome to modify them as they wish.
Our classes are mixed ages, with K-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, 4th-5th grade, and 6th-7th grade classes. College students, retirees, and those in between are welcome! For more information, please visit our website at kahalbraira.org/programs/.
