Middle School Judaic Studies Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Middle School Judaic Studies Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will engage students in meaningful Jewish learning, foster critical thinking, and create a supportive and inspiring classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons focused on Jewish texts, traditions, and values.
• Encourage thoughtful discussions and deeper connections to Judaic studies.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and curriculum alignment.
• Communicate effectively with parents to promote student success.
• Manage the classroom to encourage positive behavior and engagement.
• Supervise students during non-instructional times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, Judaic studies, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, particularly in Judaic studies.
• Strong knowledge of Jewish history, texts, and traditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
