Description

The Jewish Community Project of Lower Manhattan is hiring staff to facilitate programming for children in kindergarten through 5th grade on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Activities will include music, arts and crafts, drama, and more. Staff will also help serve lunch to participants on both days.

Program facilitators will be responsible for creating a warm, engaging, and enthusiastic environment for participants, and for ensuring participants’ physical and emotional safety and wellbeing. Facilitators will report to the High Holy Day Youth Program Coordinator, and will be expected to assist with some setup and clean up.

You are encouraged to apply even if you are available to work on only one out of the two holidays.

Dates:

Thursday, October 3, 2024 (Rosh Hashanah Day 1), 9:30am-12:45pm

and/or

Saturday, October 12, 2024 (Yom Kippur), 9:30am-1:15pm

Compensation is $50/hour. The programs will take place at 48 Wall Street.
