Part-Time Rabbi/Spiritual Leader

Temple Israel of Valparaiso, Indiana is accepting resumes for a part-time Rabbi (or Spiritual Leader with equivalent knowledge) with proficiency in Hebrew. Duties to include leading Shabbat and holiday services with sermons, adult study groups and Sunday School every other weekend, plus High Holidays, life cycle events, and prepare students for Bar/Bat Mitzvah.  Since 1946, Temple Israel has been an independent, traditional and pro-Israel synagogue in northwest Indiana, a one hour drive from Chicago. We have grown over the last few years to over 100 member families, and have a robust Sunday School.
