Position Title: Club Sinai Program Director

Reports to: Director of Youth Education

Position Type: 10-month, Regular Full-Time, Exempt Employee

Hours: M-F, 1pm-6pm, evening and weekend hours as needed

Salary: $32,000-$36,000

Position Overview

Club Sinai is a one-of-a-kind Jewish afterschool program that combines high-quality child care with immersive Hebrew and Judaic learning. As Program Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and success of Club Sinai. You will supervise daily operations, guide and support staff, manage enrollment, marketing, and purchasing, and ensure that all aspects of the program reflect our joyful Jewish values and commitment to excellence.

Core ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Club Sinai, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all students.
  • Supervise and support teaching staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, and regular performance feedback.
  • Ensure all programming aligns with Club Sinai’s mission, vision, and curriculum.
  • Serve as on-site director during program hours and act as the primary point of contact for staff and families.
  • Works closely with the Curriculum Coordinator to enhance, enrich and adapt the Club Curriculum as needed.

Marketing & Enrollment

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain families, including social media, email campaigns, and community outreach.
  • Manage all aspects of student enrollment including communication with prospective families, registration, and orientation.
  • Represent Club Sinai at recruitment events, festivals, open houses, and partner organizations.

Operations & Logistics

  • Oversee program logistics including daily schedule, transportation, classroom spaces, and health/safety protocols.
  • Order and manage supplies, materials, and snacks, ensuring timely purchasing and budget adherence.
  • Coordinate field trips, School’s Out Camp days, and holiday programming.

Family & Community Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with families through regular communication, family events, and ongoing support.
  • Plan and lead family-centered programs such as Back-to-School Night, Shabbat celebrations, and year-end ceremonies.
  • Maintain open and responsive communication with parents regarding student experiences and program updates.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Jewish education, program management, or camp leadership.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with marketing tools and outreach strategies.Ability to lead a team with compassion, vision, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Passion for joyful Judaism, Hebrew learning, and building community.
