Guided by Jewish values, S’firot Foundation aims to strategically identify and holistically support grantees as a funder, partner, and convener to help ensure the success and sustainability of programs and services that advance the foundation’s mission and goals.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

S’firot Foundation is seeking its inaugural Executive Director (ED). This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial and visionary leader to shape the future of a new foundation serving a critical and growing communal need. The ED will report to and partner closely with a highly mission-driven, engaged, and supportive Board of Directors.

The ED will develop and manage all aspects of S’firot’s innovative, data-driven grantmaking program, proactively identifying local grantees leading transformational initiatives for older adults and family caregivers. The ED will oversee a $60M endowment, establish and drive day-to-day operations, grow and manage a team, and build key relationships across the Jewish nonprofit arena and broader Central Florida community.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Vision & Leadership

Financial Oversight & Operational Excellence

  • Lead financial planning and budgeting, ensuring responsible management of foundation resources.
  • Maintain legal and financial records, including compliance with tax and regulatory filings.
  • Prepare materials for Board meetings, supporting governance with timely financial and strategic reports.

Communications & Community Engagement

  • Manage communications channels, including the website and social media, to increase community awareness.
  • Build strong relationships with the Board, grantees, and community stakeholders, enhancing partnerships and foundation visibility.
