OPPORTUNITY

The Israel Tennis and Education Centers Foundation (ITECF) seeks an organized, detail-oriented Database Manager to oversee Raiser’s Edge (including RE NXT) and join its 12-member US team.

The Database Manager will lead efforts to implement best practices, drive growth, and achieve fundraising goals. Key responsibilities include maintaining Raiser’s Edge integrity, managing data, processing gifts and acknowledgments, and analyzing data to support fundraising and stewardship. This role collaborates with teams across the US, Canada, and Israel.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Database Management & Data Integrity: Maintain and update Raiser's Edge, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Regularly audit and clean the database to remove duplicates and outdated records.
  • Data Entry & Acknowledgments: Process donations, pledges, and gifts promptly and accurately. Oversee timely acknowledgments, including generating receipts and thank-you letters.
  • Donor Segmentation & Stewardship: Develop donor segmentation strategies for targeted campaigns and assist in donor stewardship using database insights and tracking engagement.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on donations, trends, retention, and campaign performance to support development and board reporting.
  • Fundraising Campaign Support: Provide database insights for fundraising campaigns, appeals, and events while ensuring seamless integration with other organizational tools.
  • Training & Compliance: Train staff on Raiser's Edge best practices and data entry. Ensure compliance with data protection laws and maintain data security.
  • Vendor & System Relations: Liaise with Blackbaud and consultants for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and optimization.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Education & Experience: Associate or bachelor’s degree with prior experience in donor databases, ideally Raiser’s Edge.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, diverse team, supporting both individual and team goals.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, board members, volunteers, and third-party representatives.
  • Organization & Problem-Solving: Meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, mission-driven nonprofit environment.
