We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills to join our team as a Young Adult & Young Family Engagement Specialist. If you are a motivated, resourceful, and collaborative team player, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Planning & Execution:
    • Develop and implement engaging programming for young adults and young families.
    • Coordinate logistics, including food, space reservations, decorations, and vendor arrangements.
    • Collaborate with the Yisod Board/Creative Team, Parent Vision Group, and TE Tots coordinator to schedule and execute events.
    • Handle on-site responsibilities to ensure smooth operations during programs.
  • Community Engagement & Outreach:
    • Market and publicize events and programs on relevant social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
    • Create content that strengthens our brand and connects community members to our programming.
    • Schedule and attend one-on-one meetings with prospective members to facilitate connections and engage them with relevant programming and peers.
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with organizations for potential collaborations.
  • Social Media & Communications:
    • Manage and grow our social media presence by creating and curating content that resonates with young adults and young families.
    • Maintain regular communication with the young adult community through newsletters, blogs, and event reminders.
    • Update engagement spreadsheets to track participation and reach out to members who may need additional support or connection.
  • New Parent Engagement:
    • Oversee the Welcome Baby program, including coordinating Sisterhood visits and connecting new parents with meal support and TE Tots programming.
    • Supervise the production and distribution of baby bags to new parents.
  • Administrative Support & Data Management:
    • Maintain and update engagement spreadsheets to ensure accurate tracking of participation.
    • Track data and connect at-risk members with community volunteers.
    • Coordinate and manage communications related to Yisod events and ensure accurate post-event follow-up.

Experience and Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
    • Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
    • Familiarity with data management software.
    • Knowledge of Jewish customs and traditions.
