Position Overview: The Database and Events Associate is pivotal in maintaining WIZO Florida’s database and supporting the execution of fundraising events. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will ensure data accuracy, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the success of events that promote WIZO’s mission.

About WIZO: WIZO (Women’s International Zionist Organization), founded in 1920, is a leading non-political movement dedicated to improving the lives of women, children, and the elderly in Israel. Through over 800 social welfare projects, WIZO works to foster equality and community welfare while supporting Jewish education globally. Recognized by the United Nations, WIZO holds NGO status and plays an influential role in social advocacy. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Management: Process and manage donor information in Raiser's Edge, ensuring accuracy and completeness; generate reports and acknowledgment letters.
  • Event Support: Assist with planning and logistics for fundraising events, including venue coordination, materials preparation, and on-site support.
  • Operations: Manage vendor payments.
  • Collaboration: Contribute to daily office operations and special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3-5 years of professional experience, with two years of CRM, data management or bookeeping preferred.
  • Proficiency in Raiser's Edge or similar CRM platforms, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail 
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • A great teammate who enjoys working with a diverse group of people 
  • A problem solver who is comfortable with an evolving and fast-paced environment 
  • Experience in event coordination and a passion for WIZO’s mission.

Other 

  • This is a full-time, in-person position.
  • Some nights and weekends will be required with advance notice.
