PT Hebrew School Teacher

Congregation Agudas Achim, a small Reconstructionist congregation located in Attleboro, MA, is looking for a warm, creative, and engaging Hebrew school teacher for elementary school students (mostly grades 2-4) for the 2024-2025 year.

Our Hebrew school meets on Sundays from 9:30-12:30 throughout the school year (September-June, approximately 26 Sundays). Teachers are expected to be at school 15 min before school starts.

Curriculum includes: Hebrew reading, prayers, Torah, ethics, life cycle, and holidays. Class size is small, typically 5-7 students per class. Proficiency in basic Hebrew and familiarity with Jewish holidays and rituals is required. Experience teaching in a Jewish setting is a plus. Pay range is $30-$35 per hour. CAA is a small welcoming community with 80 member households. We welcome the participation of interfaith families and people of all races, abilities, and sexual orientation or identity.
