The Israel ParaSport Center seeks a highly motivated entrepreneurial self-starter, who is a passionate, articulate, creative, team player to serve as its East Coast Director. The East Coast Director works with the national office and lay leadership to develop, implement, and scale a fundraising strategy for the region. This position reports to the National Executive Director and works in close partnership with local and national board members. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5+ years of development experience, with a love of networking, and an outstanding track record of individual solicitations at high levels, relationship building and stewardship success, as well as event planning. Israel ParaSport Center Overview and History:

The US based Israel ParaSport Center provides financial support to The Center in Israel. The national office is in Chicago, with regional offices on the West Coast, St. Louis, and the East Coast. Its board members consist of dedicated individuals from across the United States.

The Israel ParaSport Center in Ramat Gan, founded in 1960, empowers people of all ages who have physical disabilities as a result of birth defects, acts of terrorism, illness and accidents to live life without limits. The Center’s vision is to provide every Israeli in need the opportunity to lead a productive and successful life.

The Center provides transformational rehabilitation therapies and programming through all forms of sport and recreational activities at its four-acre facility in Ramat Gan, Israel, and at satellite locations across Israel. The Center’s holistic approach provides social and mental health services, occupational therapies, and role models for success, complementing the para-sport activities.

Post October 7, The Center is playing an integral role in the rehabilitation of those impacted by the war and in rebuilding Israel’s social structure. The mission of The Center is more important than ever. We are collaborating with organizations throughout Israel to provide critical therapies wherever needed.

At the Israel ParaSport Center, sports are more than just a game —they are a way to strengthen the body, mind, and spirit. The nearly 3,000 athletes (everyone is an athlete) who participate annually gain self-confidence, learn new skills, discover friendships, integrate into Israeli society, and are empowered to thrive, leading meaningful productive lives. At The Center they, and their families, find hope, inspiration, success, and community. They join the IDF, work in business, in radio, teach, become doctors, lawyers, and many join teams that compete locally, nationally, and internationally. In addition, many Israel ParaSport Center athletes strive to compete in the Paralympics, and over the years have brought home several medals of distinction.
