We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales manager to oversee our Kornick & Berliner Monument location in Chicago on Devon Ave. Serving Chicagoland’s Jewish community and families since 1929, we are proud to be the largest family-owned cemetery headstone/monument company in the nation! The ideal candidate must be bilingual in Hebrew and will be responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with area funeral homes, cemetery sextons and families in order to provide tailored products and services to fit their unique needs.

  • Ability to focus on what you do best – connecting with families, funeral home directors, and cemetery sextons ensuring each client receives a quality product.

What are we looking for in a Sales Manager?

  • Hebrew speaking required along with familiarity with Jewish customs and traditions.
  • Previous retail or commission sales required.
  • Entrepreneurship mentality taking ownership of the overall success of the location.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and precision in completing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with reliable attendance.
  • Strong computer skills (SAP/ERP experience helpful).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience with drawing/sketching helpful, but not required.

What do we offer?

  • Competitive salary plus commission and bonus with no cap on commission. First year earnings between $55k - $75K.
  • Schedule will consist of working 9:00am – 5:00pm five days a week, with rotating Sundays 10:00am – 2:00pm (off on Saturdays).
