Embark Program Manager

Mem Global Hub Office: NYC, D.C., Chicago, Charlotte, or Encinitas

Who We Are:

Mem Global is what being Jewish in your 20s is all about. Launched in 2006 when four friends began hosting Shabbat dinners in their home, Mem Global provides a space for over 70,000 young adults around the world to create meaningful, welcoming Jewish communities for themselves and their peers each year. To date, there are more than 150 communities in over 40 countries, and we’re still growing!

Embark, the most recent addition to the Mem Global umbrella, is a couples learning cohort all about exploring Jewish life in mixed-heritage/interfaith relationships without the pressure to convert. Embark allows participants to connect with other couples and an Embark rabbi as they learn, share, and grow in a supportive space, thickening their relationships with their partner, forming a peer community, and building a relationship with an Embark rabbi.

Embark and Mem Global are searching for a Program Manager to manage and support the entire Embark initiative. The Embark Program Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of Embark, working towards scaling Embark and crafting more opportunities for interfaith/mixed heritage couples to find community, learning and a rabbinic coach. This is an individual who is excited to make a difference in the Jewish future by stewarding Embark.

Based in one of our U.S. hubs (New York City, D.C., Chicago, Charlotte, Encinitas), you’ll be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across the globe and will possess a strong commitment to Mem Global’s vision and mission.

All voices are needed at Mem Global (please see our  identity statements for more detail). Every new member of the Mem Global team is an opportunity for us to introduce fresh perspectives, talent, and skills into our workforce and our communities. We seek employees from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and life experiences to join our team located in the United States, South America, Europe, Israel, and Canada. Our vision, in part, is for a fair and equitable workplace, where diversity is celebrated and can truly flourish!
