Education Director - Vermont synagogue

Congregation Shir Shalom in Woodstock, Vermont is seeking a Director of Education. We are a congregation of 200 families with a school enrollment of 30 children, pre-K to Grade 8. The Director is responsible for developing and implementing the education program and supervising three to four teachers. This is a part-time position with an annual salary range of $30,000 to $32,000 depending on experience.  

The successful candidate will be an energetic and engaging educator who loves children and has a proven record of providing meaningful Jewish education. The Director works in collaboration with the Rabbi, the VP for Education and the students’ parents. Ultimately, we want our children to say, “I love to come to Hebrew School.”
