Location: Remote/US Based, East Coast Hours. Open to Israel

POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Evaluation Project Manager is responsible for implementing educational and evaluation programs across different Momentum initiatives, reporting to the Director of Education and Evaluation. This role takes the lead of evaluative processes, ensuring the effectiveness of Momentum’s programs. It involves coordinating the development and implementation of evaluation tools, managing external evaluators, and ensuring high response rates for surveys. The Evaluation Project Manager will analyze data to provide insights and support partner organizations in using this information effectively.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Project manage Momentum’s evaluative process:
    • Coordinate the development, distribution and implementation of new evaluation tools to appraise the success of Momentum programs. 
    • Manage the relationship with external evaluators and consultants. 
    • Oversee strategies for raising and maintaining high survey response rates.
    • Develop reports to analyze the results of surveys and help to disseminate relevant recommendations based on survey findings. 
    • Oversee improving ways for Momentum’s 300+ Partner Organizations to access pre- and post- trip survey data and, along with Program Staff, help Partners effectively use the information. 
  • Hone a strategy for evaluating trips daily with good response rates, eliminating the practice of evaluating all days on the final day of the trip.
  • Project manage the updating of a screening tool designed to identify fitting applicants for Momentum’s trip scholarship, such that the tool is sensitive to different global regions in over 30 countries. 
  • Lend support to other organization and program related tasks as needed. 
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred. 
  • Prior Experience with evaluation in a nonprofit setting required
  • Nonprofit project management experience required 
  • Proven ability to be detail oriented, organized, and proficient working on multiple simultaneous projects in varying stages.
  • Strong written communication skills required.
  • Excellent PC literacy with strong competency in all Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Sharepoint). Prior experience with project management software such as Asana is strongly preferred. 
  • Self-motivated, ability to take initiative, resourceful, and a quick learner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Hebrew is a plus. 
  • Proven communication skills with the ability to build strong and trusted relationships. 
  • Strong connection to the Momentum mission statement, to empower women, families and communities to change the world through Jewish values. A passion and commitment to Israel.
  • Must have flexibility to work nontraditional hours including occasional evenings and Sundays, as needed. Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and events.

This is an exempt position. The salary range is $70,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on relevant experience. Salary in Israel to be determined.
