Kulanu School Youth advisor

Kulanu is a collaborative school with Temple Beth-El and Congregation Shir Chadash.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Engaging Temple Beth-El and Congregation Shir Chadash youth in person and through social media and facilitating the planning of programs and events in collaboration with them.
2. Hosting meetings at Temple Beth-El two times per month. Meetings should include: 
1. A short discussion or interactive activity on a topic of Jewish interest
2. Lunch (provided by volunteers)
3. Planning of social events and social action events for the year
4. Work on current social action project/s
3. Encouraging Youth Group members to attend USY and/or Young Judaea regional events and conventions. Going to USY and/or Young Judaea events as staff. You will be compensated for staffing on a per/event basis.
4. Working with the Education Director, Rabbi Miriam Hyman, to coordinate events and engage youth and their families.
