4th/5th Grade Religious School Teacher JANUARY 2025 Start

We are looking for a passionate 4th/5th grade (Dalet-Hei) Sunday educator to join our Religious School community beginning January 5, 2025!

Teaching is in-person, and our school meets on the following days and times:

Sundays (whole school)-9:00am-12:15pm

Each grade focuses on Hebrew language, Jewish holidays, and Jewish values through the lens of their overarching curricular topic. Teachers are asked to write their own lesson plans based on the in-depth curriculum and activities provided, with planning assistance by the Education Director as needed. Teachers are paid for 1 hour of planning a week at the meeting rate of $15/hr.

We encourage you to bring your passion, expertise, talents, and Judaism into the classroom and make the curriculum your own!

Salary is $45-60/hr, based on education and previous experience. All teachers are paid $15/hr for meetings and 1 hour of planning time a week.

Congregation Ohev Shalom is a mid-sized progressive Conservative congregation in Wallingford, PA (Philly suburbs). Our school is open to Early Learning (3 years old) through 7^th grade, emphasizing experiential learning and relationship building as keys to helping our students develop a strong Jewish identity.
