The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment, promote a love for mathematics, and support students' academic growth. Teaching certification or credential in Mathematics (preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and a positive learning experience.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience, especially at the middle school level, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Hours are Monday-Thursday 1-4 pm
