Position Summary

Kohelet Yeshiva is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a HR Coordinator. This is a part-time position that requires the highest level of discretion and confidentiality. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the HR operations and administrative functions of our school. This position offers flexibility in schedule and requires between 15-25 hours per week depending on the time of year. In addition, this position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in HR management tasks (preferably in non-profit or school setting) and a high level of computer literacy. The ideal candidate will need to effectively manage their own time and workload to meet deadlines to deliver high-quality results and customer service. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Execute and track letters of hire, contracts and PTO time
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Human Resources best practices and legal requirements, including updating handbook, as needed
  • Coordinate with our benefit provider partners and PAISBOA
  • Provide assistance and guidance to employees pertaining to HR benefits and policies
  • Assist with administrative and office management responsibilities as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates should possess experience as a Human Resources Coordinator, Assistant, or similar role
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong computer literacy, software adaptability and understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
