Social Worker

Gesher Yehuda Yeshiva, a vibrant K-12 school located in Brooklyn that educates children with learning differences in a comprehensive dual curriculum of Judaic and General studies, is seeking a social worker for 3 to 4 days a week.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, individual with 5+ years of experience working with children and families.

The individual must hold NYS certification as an LMSW. The ability to recruit and train interns (SIFI) is a strong plus as is knowledge of the Sephardic community and prior experience working in a school environment.  

The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge the availability of mental health resources in the Brooklyn Jewish community and the ability of to manage a substantial  case load.  

The successful candidate will work closely with school’s educational administration and therapeutic staff. Excellent organizational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills are required.
