Hebrew Teacher

The Shlenker School is seeking applicants for a full-time Hebrew Teacher (PreK-3 through 5^th grade). The new teacher will join a professional team of colleagues who are committed to challenging students academically while understanding each child’s unique learning style. We seek a teacher who will help foster a love of Hebrew language and will instill Jewish values and knowledge about Jewish content.

Requirements:

• The ability to function as a contributing member of a team and to work cooperatively with administrators, teachers, students, and parents while maintaining a positive attitude.
• A love of working with early childhood and elementary-aged children
• Comfort being able to teach multiple learning styles
• Skills to create a respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• Fluency in Hebrew is REQUIRED
• Native Hebrew speaker PREFERRED
• Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED
• Three year of teaching experience PREFERRED
