The Ramaz School is seeking a warm, caring, passionate Lower School General Studies Teacher to join our Lower School team for the 2025-2026 school year.
The ideal candidate for this position will:
• Foster a supportive learning environment for students to explore and express themselves musically
• Possess strong ability to build connections with children, developing an atmosphere of mutual respect and an understanding of children with diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Exemplify a positive outlook and approach
Key Responsibilities
? Design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum
? Foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment where every child is seen and valued
? Use innovative, hands-on teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles
? Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences
? Partner with families to support student growth and development
? Model lifelong learning and a growth mindset for students
Qualifications
? Master’s degree in education - in process or completed
? Experience teaching in a Lower School
? Innovative and creative educator
? Excellent communication skills
? Ability to analyze data to improve instructional practice and student learning outcomes
This is an exciting opportunity to work with an energetic faculty embracing current best practices including Design Thinking, Singapore Math, and Responsive Classroom. You will become part of a collaborative grade-level team and work with instructional coaches in literacy and math.
Salary range is $65,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience and education.
