About the Greenburgh Hebrew Center Early Childhood Center
Greenburgh Hebrew Center Early Childhood Center (GHC ECC) is a private, not-for-profit preschool that offers a combined secular and Judaic curriculum in a warm, nurturing, emotionally supportive, creative and fun atmosphere. Our children are encouraged to develop emotionally, cognitively and physically. Our strength is built on our philosophy whereby our children are imbued with a natural curiosity that is used as a springboard to learn new skills necessary for the success in school and in life. Since children learn best by doing, our curriculum is experiential and open-ended and our activities are age-appropriate and incorporate various learning styles, which reinforce all the skills necessary to build strong foundations for future learning. In addition, we provide a foundation for a strong, positive Jewish identity centered in Jewish values, traditions and rituals. The school is located in dedicated class room and play space at Greenburgh Hebrew Center.
