70 Faces Media, the largest and most diverse Jewish media organization in North America, is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to helm the promotion of a new major project for My Jewish Learning. The person in this role will manage and optimize all marketing activity around our new education portal, linking to classes and other online events hosted by My Jewish Learning and dozens of organizational partners. You will build a long-term marketing strategy for the portal, create daily emails and social media campaigns to promote individual events and the portal as a whole, use data to analyze which channels work best and which programs are most successful, and engage with partners to help build the new portal’s brand and help them improve their offerings. You’ll help make My Jewish Learning best in class in using email, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google Ads, and Linkedin to promote online educational programs and other live experiences.
This position reports to the Director of Audience Development, 70 Faces Media, with additional oversight from and collaboration with the My Jewish Learning team.
-Manage day-today marketing activities for My Jewish Learning’s soon-to-launch online education portal, including daily emails, daily website updates, social posts, event postings, and more
-Plan a successful launch campaign for the new My Jewish Learning portal
-Manage My Jewish Learning’s growing YouTube channel, to drive views and subscriptions
-Spearhead a new Linkedin marketing strategy
-Produce and send daily, weekly, and monthly emails
-Work with the audience development team to improve SEO across the portal and YouTube videos
-Manage and optimize internal and external marketing budget
-Advise partners on best approach to digital marketing for their own programs
-Regularly survey users to understand feedback and interests
-Provide assistance with additional daily marketing operations across 70 Faces Media’s properties
Desired Skills & Qualifications
-3+ years in a digital marketing role, with focus on email and social media. Experience marketing video a plus.
-Hands-on marketer who is excited to both think big and do the daily legwork, whether it’s scheduling posts for social, digging into analytics, experimenting with a new graphics strategy, or creating a launch plan.
-Excellent communicator, who can translate difficult religious or academic language into digestible
marketing copy and who can communicate marketing results to a less data-oriented team
-Familiarity with the basics of search engine optimization and ability to write copy in a search-friendly way
-Hands-on experience using data from digital and site analytics tools to make marketing decisions; you are someone who loves diving into the data for insights to share with the team and to inform your next
-Knowledge of and interest in Jewish religion, traditions and culture
-Good visual eye for photos and artwork to accompany articles and social posts
