Transportation Coordinator and Receptionist


To provide services as the first contact with parents and community as the receptionist for the school and coordinator of student transportation services.


• Manage daily Attendance for all students, including late arrivals and early dismissals
• Transportation:
• Manage daily Transportation/Dismissal (bus and carpool) for all students
• Coordinate busing with various towns/bus companies

• Manage NJ State transportation forms (B6T and B8T) with the various towns
• Coordinate snow days with various bus companies
• Coordinate with administration on teacher responsibility with dismissal
• Manage students dismissal for after-school programs
• Main Office:
• Receptionist
• Manage switchboard
• Manage incoming/outgoing mail
• Fax, copy and postage machines
• Manage student files
• Manage New Milford textbook forms
• Manage employee attendance for sick/personnel days
• Liaison with parents
• Coordinator of substitute teachers
• Coordinator of yearly Student/Class Pictures


• Minimum five years’ experience of self-directed administrative position preferred
• Technical Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ease with various computer software
• Ability to make decisions independently, in accordance with established policies and regulations
