Content Writer for AMIT Children

We are seeking a creative individual to join our team as a Content Writer for AMIT Children. This role involves crafting compelling, educational, and engaging content that reflects AMIT’s mission. The Content Writer will collaborate with our marketing team along with development staff to create content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• The development and project management of two magazines per year
• Create monthly AMIT updates from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with freelance writers to develop strong content for various publications.
• Writing press releases
• Targeting media outlets
• Serve as the primary writer/editor/proofreader on other projects including brochures, annual reports, event invitations, fundraising appeals scripts, digital/social media content and other strategic documents.

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of two to three years’ marketing experience, preferably for a nonprofit or educational organization.
• Proven experience in content writing, preferably in nonprofit, education, or Jewish communal organizations
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong eye for detail.
• The ability to convey complex information in a clear, compelling manner suitable for various audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Creativity, empathy, and an understanding of the mission-driven work environment.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and efficiently plan, organize, and implement work priorities.
