PART TIME LEADER FOR EREV SHABBAT SERVICES

FOR A SENIOR CENTER

NEAR NORTH, CHICAGO

Interested in investing time and energy helping seniors welcoming Shabbat?  We have about 30 seniors on the near north side with varied backgrounds coming together enjoying an hour praying and singing before Shabbat dinner.  Our part time leader is leaving Chicago for California and we are looking forward to new leadership. We have a 3 person rotation, so there is flexibility and fun.

1. Lead a reform service on Friday afternoon for Seniors  
2. Rotate with others to help us participate in welcoming Shabbat
3. Short D’var Torah
4. Lead with singing (accompanied with guitar or not)
5. Compensation
6. Free inside parking
7. Dinner on us if interested.
8. Interact with congregants.
