The Coordinator of Synagogue Community, will be a key point of contact, spearheading and executing congregational projects and events, while contributing to smooth building operations alongside a team of dedicated staff and synagogue leadership. The candidate must have a caring attitude, excellent people skills, be organized, and the ability to work together with a variety of staff, clergy, and volunteers. Prior experience with seeing projects through from start to finish, organizing events, and general administrative skills are required. Understanding of and support of the synagogue’s mission will be key attributes for success in this role.
This position requires approximately 20 hours per week in person, weekdays and occasional evenings and weekends. Candidates must be flexible, as the schedule will require some adjustments based on the annual cycle of the synagogue.
